He found the one channel that has fewer commercials than the others. I’d be aggravated too if it was lost. But then there is always phone chat with family, a walk, workshop project, new book, crossword book, or whatever. So who needs it.
Hubby used to be a horrible channel flipper (one reason I refuse to watch TV with him), until I pointed out he didn’t watch to watch TV, he just wanted to see what else was on.

I hate having to pay for all the channels I don’t watch. Give me a choice of any six channels for a reasonable fee and I would be content.
