Again, all this attention toward Black Panther is not unwarranted. But the CW’s “Black Lightning” is an excellent show dealing with a lot of the same themes and issues, worthy of attention. It’s not just me; it’s got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Of course, those are the same mental midgets that are upset that a “Gasp!!” Woman, and “Gasp, Gasp!!!” a Black Guy are two of the new heroes of Star Wars…
The new uproar is A Wrinkle In Time. All the white, male reviewers who grudgingly gave Black Panther a good review feel they have used up their quota of good things to say about movies with non white leads, especially when the director is a woman of color who is vocal about her distaste for the president, a lead character that everyone assumed to be white is played by a woman of color who lots of people would like to see run for president, and the young female lead who was described as a red head, is played by a young lady of color. OMG, its a politically correct movie. It must be held to a far higher standard than a movie directed by a white male director with a white cast.
