Those PCs aren’t very PC, are they? Especially the second one.

These days they’d be tasered, kicked about and then arrested…… I won’t go into what happens in the police station.

VERY unrealistic! An arrest five minutes before the end of your shift means 3 hours of overtime!!

I just had to go google that ‘nick’ thing. Although in context, I did know what it meant, looking it up just muddied it up. Looks like “nick” can be either a verb or a noun. The copper gave them an ultimatum: pack it in OR I’ll nick you. If they had stopped fighting (probably unlikely, I admit) they wouldn’t need to be nicked, and the coppers can go off-shift with a clear (for coppers) conscience.

Well, I’m back to work tomorrow. A lot of the schools and other offices are reopening after the bad weather.

I’m going to make the most of it because it’s my last couple of weeks there. I got paid last Wednesday. My last payday for goodness knows how long. My motto “Don’t be positive about something you don’t know for sure”

Nobody seems to agree with me though.
