Most birds do NOT identify with other species of bird, so our pelican should be perfectly happy! Poultry in particular is not relatable to the more intelligent varieties of birds who live in the wild, partly just because they are domesticated and not forced to hunt and actually USE any intelligence!

I wouldn’t be too worried; a pelican eats anything he can fit in his mouth - including pigeons.

It was a terrible accident! On his way over here, Tom fell into a giant machine that beheaded him, plucked him and cooked him! We’re devastated!
