Seems wasteful and unnecessary. Why not just indoctrinate the kids to embrace your ideas and ideals as Absolute Truth and train them to express them forcefully at every available opportunity. They will act out in the least inconvenience, not to mention the drama they will generate when faced with an actual “crisis”.
As for arming them, no. We need to have Gun-Free Zones. They provide safe, target-rich environments for those who fail to conform to the mental and emotional entrainment process and spin out into eccentric outside orbits.
We have been aware for a long time that Gun-Free Zones were harmful, but insist that the only cure for the problem is a bigger Gun-Free Zone.
It is similar to how we insist that the economic harm done by taxation may be remedied by increasing taxation, or the harm done by an oppressive police state may be repaired by a totalitarian police state.
If it weren’t so scarily close to the truth, this would be funny but…
.
NRA = NATION of RABID A$$HOLES
And before anyone gets on my case, I’ve been a licensed firearms owner and instructor for most of my life, and YES, the U.S, needs to divest itself of the influence of the NRA and YES, the U.S. needs to have better firearms regulations and controls, and NO, an 18 year old civilian doesn’t need to own an AR15 rifle !
I can see the headlines, “Random and Trained Teachers are now Armed!”
I can also see the next tragedy, “Gunman Kills 23 Teachers”
It’s simple I think. If the murderer knows the teacher may be armed, who will he shoot first? The teachers, as any good teacher would, will be protecting the kids first, not roaming the halls looking for a shootout. That gives the killer ample time to choose his targets. No folks, it won’t help. It MIGHT reduce the number of killed and wounded, MAYBE.
I can hear the teacher say, “Stay here and keep your heads down, I have to go shoot someone.”
The only solution, since we can not completely eliminate firearms, is to keep the hideous things out of our schools by whatever means necessary. For that, I would pay more in taxes. Arming teachers? Not.
When Trump first came down the escalator to announce he was running for President, those were all paid actors holding signs and cheering, that was not a grassroots uprising.

The GOP is full of crisis actors, paid for by the NRA.

You might as well shoot Alex Jones in the head—after all, there’s nothing IN there!

The folks who claim all these mass shootings are fake are one of two things; Russian bots or actual individuals who are beneath contempt.

This is brilliant, Ruben! It’s a distillation of every far-right lunacy polluting the Internet. Are you a Russian?

Kids who survived and are speaking out are being called ‘crisis actors’ and are receiving death threats.

Why do Trump Disciples have to lie about every issue?
