You definitely make a strong argument, though maybe not for the Republicans.

Frankly, Kyle, your bias is boring.

Check out the writings of Steven Pinker for an assessment of the world. He contends yes, it is getting better when viewed in a macro sense. However, there are those who have found it profitable to scare and frighten us, usually via TV & radio, about 24 hours a day. My 89yr old mother thinks this is the worst period of history ever. (Personally I would have thought WWII or the Depression would have scored more points…..) But she is an avid listener to FOX and hate talk radio guys.

Here’s your problem, Carmen, the vast majority of people mostly believe the last thing they heard. And if it’s in your interest to terrify a certain voting block about the economy crashing, the “other” as President, Soviet style government, Sharia law, etc……then we will only be afraid.

We can’t be satisfied or peaceful. Once the Soviet Union fell, Americans turned on each other.

And now the Soviet Union is back though they no longer use the name. And about a third of America seems ready to ally with them. Ironically, the third that considered them the biggest threat in the first place.

Strangely, I strongly agree with someone who saw trump up close and personal for months—Rex Tillerson. His characterization of trump as a a f*****g moron was never retracted.

Not all people are morons. Some rare creatures can disagree and even argue without threats or epithets or whining about a need for “safe places” or prohibition of “hate speech.” One never finds those places on comics blogs, however.

Population density does not always refer to the number of people per square mile.

Sadly, both side of the aisle disagreement is bad. n fact when more points are brought to life then people should be able to reach a corneous.

Because there is an organized effort to create division. Both sides say it is the other. That is the method. Whence does the madness really come?
