Remember the Star Trek episode where Data came up with an impossible mathematical construct that was designed to make the Borg go crazy and shut them down? This is Thom’s plan to do the same to Lewreader….

Faces, faces! (I especially like the one on the right with snail eyes…)

    Did someone warn Lewreader?

Digital Frog, I was thinking something similar, but I was even more cynical than you. I say it’s Chief Thom Thom’s nefarious plot to drive us all crazy looking for faces.

Just what we need, a 2-D projection of a 3-D Rorshach test.

And by the way, Chief Thom Thom: howcum we see no smoke signals from you since many moons pass over big river? You no likem our signals any more?

(sorry to any genuine Indians out there, but paleface mangling of other peoples’ mangled English is not only expected, it’s legendary)

Johanan, maybe we drive Thom crazy because we find all of the faces he puts in and even some that he didn’t intend to be faces!

    Johanan and other Birdbrainiacs,

I apologize for being such a missing page lately - and I’ve been around the bend so many times (by choice), it would be hard for the Tribe to drive me there. I’ve just been really, really, really busy with my regular job. I work about 12 hours a day, generally six and, most weeks, seven days. Lately, it’s been very busy.

Hopefully, I’ve been bringing a strange smile to all your faces in spite of my conspicuous invisiblity.

Today’s “creation” is my comment about beauty being in the eye of the beholder… or, in this case, the artist… and only the artist. I’m constantly amazed at what passes for “art,” so I have to comment on the art of art. Personal hangup, I guess.

And thank you all for reading this obscure cartoon!

    Thom

It’s perfectly obvious when you look at it from multidimensional perspectives, but being a two dimensional representation of a three dimensional projection, it’s probably very confusing. (Thanks for the prompt, Johanan Rakkav.)

I am unable to properly describe the majestic ineptitude portrayed by the swindler who fashions himself as a sculptor. (I see bad things!)
