That’s some squirm-inducing stuff right there.

Ok, North American life expectancy is more like 80 years. So right there ol’ perv Woody is closer to the mark. But overall the message is bang on from my perspective.

Or maybe the adults have just figured out who they are and what they want, and are therefore content.

I’m growing older,not up :)

If you have married someone you love, completed the education to have a job you love, have children that you love, or perhaps decided not to do any of the above but love the life you have worked to achieve, it’s not called coasting, it’s called enjoying.

The thought that you must constantly “do more” is what drives people to despair. If you are content (and not a burden on others) then that should be enough.

Or being a songwriter, Frazz could have quoted J. Buffett,..“I’m growing older but not UP.” And he should also be familiar with Edison’s quote,..“Genius is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration.”
