I started my fan writing on a manual typewriter. Didn’t know how bad I was at spelling until computers with spellcheck were invented. I would never go back.

Doncha just love people’s helpful suggestions on how you should spend your “free time?”
Working part time and then writing didn’t work out for me. Not enough time…too much exhaustion from work even for that.
