I was right! This was an alternate universe created by Les Miles, “interim” head coach for Goshen. All they had to do was show him a picture of their lush field and he was hooked. The rips in space-time took care of themselves.
So when do we get to the part where the team realizes that Jamarr started all of this? When will Rubin and Whigham sack up and give this little snot the beatdown he’s been asking for since he got to Milford? Will they try to make him a sympathetic character in his senior season by having him grow up on the streets running from bullies to survive? Was Mimi able to recruit enough amazons to field a good tribe–er, team?
In the 13+ years I’ve been reading this strip, I think this is the first time Goshen’s beaten them in football. Heck, I remember a scene when the football team went 2-for-the-season where they whipped Goshen, the boys were dancing about, and Les Neemy ripped them a new one because he figured beating Goshen wasn’t supposed to be anything dance-worthy.
Can we PLEASE have a couple of the team meet that punk behind the school and beat the tar out of him? Just once?
On Nov. 26th an 27th Goshens helments were WHITE with the “G” a BLACK outline. Now on the 30th an Dec. 1st, their helments are BLACK witha WHITE “G” and a WHITE stripe. How often do teams change thier helments during a game?
