Actually, that is kinda the way it’s supposed to work. Each house is supposed to check the other…I know, I know, it seems humorous these days…..Ha! Ha! Eh?

In Reality, there are no door knobs; the doors open remotely only for Lobbyists!

That kind of politics has been going on long before I was old enough to vote, and I’m in my sixties.

I guess Wiley can’t draw a hand with a pointing index finger and had to use arrows instead.

You will notice the bottles, showing that you’d have to be DRUNK to think ANYTHING is gonna get done in D.C. with THIS bunch of idiots in charge!

It’s the Department of Abdication of Responsibility.

This is the governmental equivalent of “ask your mother” – “ask your father” – repeat etc.

It’s all about checks and balances, checks from lobbyists and the Congressman’s balance. Ever since Citizens United and “businesses are people too” we have lost sight of the needs of individuals,… education, infrastructure, healthcare, a safe environment. Everything can be privatized and profit extracted, all we have to sacrifice is the quality of our education, infrastructure, healthcare and environment.

That trash can is a neat little example of the “Tragedy of the Commons.” Everyone wants to use it, but no one wants to take care of it.

Accountability? Isn’t that a rather inappropriate term to use around all those no-accounts?

“Checks and Balances” nowadays means they have a check in one hand from their Corporate Masters and a check in the other hand from the Lobbyists, so they are in balance!

That wasn’t Wm Foster Loyd’s work.
