What’s a wattle?
It’s the skin folds that hang below turkey beaks and some chins.. and now that image is burned in my mind, Pink Wattles…
Well, now it’s in mine too! Why did I ask? :-D

First Bruce This here’s the wattle - the emblem of our land. You can stick it in a bottle or you can hold it in your hand.
I had to look up “pithy” in the Webster Dictionary, surfstuff55. It means “terse” or “forcible”. Who says that the “Diamond Lil” comic strip is not educational :-)
Still (GIGGLE), Lil sure knows how to tell it like it is :-)
