Look at the upside, you can be a witness at the perjury trial.

Just like the “jury” is still “out” on climate change…

It scares me to think that not long ago – not long at all! – doctors were recommending cigarettes on TV, and we legitimately didn’t know they killed you.

It makes me wonder, what are we doing these days that will be proven to be deadly in the future?

After the states wisely used the tobacco settlement money to provide health services to all those afflicted, cancer deaths from this scourge have been eliminated.

When I was a little kid, my aunt “jokingly” called her cigarettes “cancer sticks.”

At the time, my mother smoked Chesterfields, and my father smoked cigars.

He quit about 1962, because he’d started to believe it really did cause cancer, and started hassling my mother to give up her cigarettes.

She found it difficult to stop, but was finally convinced, two years later, by the Surgeon General’s report…

and that was in 1964!

The jury is still out??!

Isn’t there any limitation on how long it can be sequestered?

And yeah, they’re obviously sequestered, cos they’re purposely blind to any new reports or research.

The proper verdict has been obvious for 60 or 70 years!

Tobacco never caused cancer;

United Fruit Company (Chiquita bananas) never overthrew a government;

Union Carbide plant kept a safe operation in Bohpal, India.

WellPoint’s Breast Cancer Algorithm was never used to rescind insurance coverage for women with cancer Dx’s;

Wal-Mart never locked in illegal alien janitors overnight between 1998 and 2003;

Goldman Sachs never sold Investors a Doomed-to-Fail Fund (CBO’s);

Enron never manipulated energy prices;

Arthur Andersen never shredded incriminating documents pertaining to its advisory and auditing of Enron;

Now Shell Oil and Exxon never covered up that CO2 causes Climate Change.
