I’ve been a regular watcher of C-SPAN’s morning call-in show, “Washington Journal” for years. I remember a time when Republican callers would actually sound sensible, making logical arguments. These days, the vast majority of them are just spewing Fox News propaganda. And the conspiracy theories they come up with are beyond the pale.
When I was in school we didn’t have any of those fancy curves. Tests had 10 questions thath you had to answer. if you answered correctly 5 or more, you passed the test. 5 was “sufficient”, 6 was “good” 7-8 was “notable” and 9-10 was “excellent”. And on the other side 3-4 was “insufficient” and 0-2 was “very deficient”.
This way you only had to worry about your own performance.

What does Jason care about the curve anyway? He’s going to have a perfect score, so the others should be worried about him, not the other way around.

The whole family are long-time Fox News viewers as well, so there’s that.
