This story was better when the Green Hornet & Red Wasp were crashing into counterfeiter hideouts. It also made far more sense.

I think Johnny (aka Mr. Italian Restaurant with the groovy trick mirror) is somewhere in the house right now to work as muscle, while Topper gives his “sales pitch.”

As far as Topper’s scheme, the only way I see the whole “hard drive rental” thing working is if the banks use clients’ computers to create a localized cloud system. They could be paying cash or lowering payment amounts towards a loan. It’s a possibility that the bank owners are leery, perhaps paranoid, of other cloud and/or transfer systems, in light of the whole Facebook/Cambridge Analytica kerfuffle.Just light speculation on my part, is all.

Lonnie Jarman looks to be the perpetually frightened type. Otherwise, I don’t know why Topper’s vague but implicit threat would scare him. Unless, of course, Johnny is Topper’s muscle and about to put a hurt on the corpulent householder….
