Nor do they all cross at those signs.

There’s one of those signs on a country road outside of Sacramento that has a red nose, presumably made of Scotch-Lite reflective tape, thus becoming a “Sign of Christmas”.

They don’t jump like that either.

I know. I’ve hit one and it wasn’t even attempting to jump.

Reminds me of a story about a rural resident who wrote to the highway department, asking them to move the deer crossing sign to a safer location because she thought it was too dangerous for the deer to be crossing at the current location.

There are deer in my town. There wer some living in the woods across from my house.

Also, DUH a lot of Americans can’t read either.

We have been able to get some of these signs “corrected.” A real deer’s tail is down when it leaps.
