These comics get weirder each time

Either this is the wrong caption for the wrong comic, there’s a reference I’m not getting, or this is just the weirdest comic I’ve seen in a while.

I just took the opportunity to look back through the last few weeks of this, and there’s definitely a turn toward absurdism. Hard to know whether this is an artistic shift of some kind, or Tom just can’t think of any gags and is doing this instead.
