I think the problem is that a lot of people have a sentimental attachment to their teddy bears, and this emotion carries over to this representation, as it does to many furry animals. I understand the joke, understand people’s objection, understand other people dissing them for it. For my part, I would rather have not seen this particular comic.
I get the joke and a part of me did laugh at the twisted joke. However, with pigs and cows, they are raised as food. Bears are limited in population and are strictly predators in the wild.
this is the first laugh out loud comic I have come across today. I must be seriously twisted. Though admittedly I always enjoyed the comics showing the frogs without legs in the wheelchairs who were bandaged up from chefs serving frog legs
