if a cat (for example, elvis) screws up on camera, but the rest of the a/v equipment is dead, will he still deny it?

I thought Bert might cut to an Our IX Lives segment to fill the dead air time. Of course, if Elvis’ plug powers ALL the A/V equipment, that doesn’t work.

Love how Elvis goes from so proud of himself in panel 1, pontificating in panel 2 to oh crap in panel 4. At least he was quick on the uptake :)

I love Elvis’ expression in the last panel (mainly because I’ve used it so much myself), “I’ve just done something really stupid, haven’t I?”

Don’t worry Elvis. A little electrical tape and we’re back in business. The stand of brave cats against tyranny is just experiencing some technical difficulties.

Good morning and a happy Thursday (Purrsday) to all orbsters and orbabies. Hope you have a wonderful day. Paul got his hearing aids yesterday. He can hear me now if I speak in a normal tone of voice (listen, though, maybe not so much) and the TV is no longer blaring away. Keep your fingers crossed for us, dear friends, Paul sees the oncologist this afternoon.

Well, Elvis, now you’ve gone and done it. The vacuum is probably in the process of strangling Lupin, and Puck is mothering the baby.

What a lovely speech!

I almost feel sorry for Elvis, almost. Can’t wait to see how he spins this!

At least we have another entry in the “Breaking Cat News” blooper reel (once the equipment gets working again!)

Remember, while Elvis is giving that nice, pre-prepared, well-rehearsed speech, in the background the vacuum still says, “RRRRRRRRRRR!”

This encapsulates many of the reasons I love Elvis. Passion. Statesmanship. Courage. Gets the job done (almost). Sees the error quickly.

Oh dear, poor woman she will have to go & buy another or get the cord fixed, I think the kitties need to be in with the washing machine when the dirt is sucked up!!!

Hi to all! Just following up on what I posted last week—our little Siamese named Apple has been diagnosed with lymphoma in her small intestine and emerging in her stomach. She’ll be on prednisone starting tonight and for 2 weeks. Then we have to make decisions.Just asking—has anyone dealt with this and chosen to do chemo? If so, how did your cat take to it? Would you do it again? Thanks in advance for all your help and support, it means the world to us!

Oh no, Apple – so very sorry Fullmoondeb. I just posted a comment, not sure where it went. A long time ago, I opted not to do chemo on my kitty with stomach cancer. But this is now. Medicine has improved greatly. Talk with your vet about the side effects. As a lymphoma survivor, I know that human chemo is much better (effective and less ravaging) than it used to be.

“Power vacuum” usually has a different meaning.
