Back in 1990, I was working in a chemistry lab with a young lady that grew up in the City of Cleveland, OH. One weekend she went to a petting farm and was so excited to tell us all about it as she had never seen cows, chickens, goats, or any other farm animal before. Now most of us grew up in the boonies and many of us grew up on farms, so when she was telling us about the cows one of the guys asked her “Where did you think the hamburger you are eating came from?”. She never associated her food with farm animals. I have lost contact with her but sometimes wonder if she ever ate meat again.

Typical of modern, “precious snowflake” children, who are all taught to be timid.
