Algoleli is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Kids read cartoons and, when they encounter sloppy English, they either adopt such examples of sloppy English as their own, thinking that the use is correct, or use such published sloppy English examples to defend their own use of sloppy English. Shame on Mark Anderson for not holding himself to fourth-grade elementary school standards.
The real problem is that criminals use sloppy grammar – probably because they don’t know any better, though. Every kidnapping gang should hire an English teacher to write their ransom notes! And if they get caught, he can teach English to the convicts in prison. Schools of crime? Let’s make them grammar schools!
