In my senior class at Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa were to guys whose first and last names were “William Davis.” But, the tall slim guy went by “Bill” and the short guy by “Joe” (his middle name was Joseph). Joe was in my art class. Bill was in my English and Physics classes. Bill was tall and slim; while Joe was short and had a round face. Bill was deceased many years before Joe died. A woman who was in our class swore up and down that the “Bill Davis” who had recently died was never called “Joe.” But, William Joseph Davis’ obituary was published in the local newspaper had a photo of the Joe Davis I knew in my art class.

I found myself in the 1975 year book when I thought I graduated in 1976. No caption.

There weren’t any captions under the names of Seniors in my High School Yearbook (1961).

What is Clyde…doing with his hands? Whittling a very small baseball bat? Making a shiv?

I would guess that Clyde is seeing if there is any shape in that piece of wood while realizing that a piece of wood is a valid shape
