Chaplain Patrick Conroy is a Jesuit. Fake Catholic Paul Ryan should have known this is the same order that Pope Francis belongs to (first Jesuit Pope ever) and that the order is focused on social justice.
Ryan has said: “Ayn Rand, more than anyone else, did a fantastic job of explaining the morality of capitalism, the morality of individualism.”
Ryan requires all of his interns to read “Atlas Shrugged,” by Ayn Rand, and he gives out copies of the book as Christmas gifts.
Paul Ryan needs to admit that he is no Catholic and, instead, worships Ayn Rand, a pro-choice pro-free love atheist.
All I’m waiting for is that Mr. Ryan will cite separation of church and state as a defense for his action. That should make the Evangelical (i.e., non-Catholic) Right very happy. I think the GOP should scrap their elephant mascot in favor of the old Roman god, Janus. You know, the one with two faces.
Ryan actually claims to be Catholic. The Pope respectfully disagrees, based on Ryan’s budget proposal, which is brutal to the poor. You can’t be Catholic and Randian at the same time (if only because Rand was a firm atheist!).

The chaplain did not say “help the poor” but rather called for fairness to all. He called for a tax bill that was fair to all wage earners.

Republicans have been helping the rich and hurting the poor since Reagan’s voodoo Trickle Down.

Why do people assume that just because someone wears a dress they are instantly the good guys?

Finally it’s clear who they are really worried about – who really needs the help.
