The barbecue season is coming to the US? I heard it was nearly a religion (in the fun use of the word, please) to Americans, with grand priests presiding over offerings with salivating watchers waiting for the end of the ceremony, great ritual ceremonies with huge crowds barbecuing together, crowds gathering at the shrines of barbecue sellers, even barbecue competitions… Sounds crazy and fun. :)
Arlo recognizes the obvious attempt by a rival male to lure his female and is on the alert! The grilling and smoking of meat is like pheromones to the female of the species. I envision male display behavior from Arlo soon. Perhaps in the next strip.
