Busted. That excuse fell flat.
Dorothy knows Jane a little too well.
Lies.
Well… corn is a vegetable, right?
Meanwhile…. just found some replies I hadn’t seen in the comments on the last strip…
the world is so full of coincidences!
CozmikCowboy…. I answered you back there….
<——-
Mr. Boffo…. funny about the bus signs….
Yeah, that’ll work, right?
I only lived in Peoria a few months… but I had relatives living there that I visited the whole time I was growing up….
but even that was long ago.
Teto….
You’re moving to BC…
and my sister lives there!
Paige doesn’t exactly work at the museum….her studio is in the little museum complex.
She’s the Creative Director of the whole Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates…
I think a vice president… in any case a VIP….
I know she oversees brand identity, does Peanuts artwork and illustrates Peanuts movies and books.
She also writes Jane books…. the unpaid labor of love that is “Jane’s World” is an offshoot of that…
and she’s done kid’s books, and with a partner, a sci-fi series…. ComicCons…
A very busy person….
and somebody posted on the last strip, I guess cos it was artwork, and not part of the plot-line, that she was lazy!!
LOL
As for the fires….
thanks for asking…
I live 7 miles south of the fire line, so my place was OK….
though a good friend’s house burned down halfway in between, due to drifting embers,
so no place was guaranteed safe.
The museum was very close to the fires…. luckily, untouched…
but the whole north part of town was devastated.
So sad.
.
“oh, that´s the bacon bits and the tortilla strips”
Lettice and carrots… lots of crunch there, also water chestnuts. The slurping sound is just Jane drooling over all the healthy fiber she’s eating.
Jane holds her spoon like a little kid.
