not for studying, but I once had a buzz some years ago with a Monster or Rock Star drink… almost completely drained of energy after it wore off and never went back to it again
That would, in fact, be weaning. While espresso is made with dark-roasted beans & thus tastes strong, the process of steam-brewing pushes the water through the grounds too rapidly for it to pick up all the caffeine; espresso is, in fact, much lower in caffeine than regular coffee.
My parents drank coffee, but none of us kids do. I love the smell of coffee, especially when you open a new can of it, but can’t stand the taste. I do, however, drink French Vanilla coffee or cappuccino. Not quite the same, but I that I like.
I learned to drink coffee in the middle of winter, on a mountain top in Korea. They weren’t going to let us come off our sites till we got our communications in but they did not engineer the network in a way that would actually work. It got cold.
Hospitals were concerned when so many people developed headaches after surgery and had to be kept over a day. They thought it was the anesthesia, but it turned out to be a coffee withdrawal symptom.

We’ll check back in a couple of decades to see how the “gradual weaning” is going.

Good thing he’s young; I don’t know if my heart could take a quintuple espresso.
