Last night Hubby asked me to come outside for a moment. We live on the edge of a state park, and every tree in sight was loaded with lightening bugs, all the way to the top. It was the most enchanting thing I’ve ever seen! All the more ethereal because there’s no way you could capture it on film.

Petey, get a grip.

Jeez. The six legs don’t bother me. It’s the eights and the hundred and thousand leggers that scare the crap out of me!

Four legs good. Two legs bad. Six is right out.
