Grounded for at least a week!

Soon it will be bright and sunny on Calvin’s bottom.

This just in: now we have a 100 percent chance of a boys butt getting whupped.

Of course, Calvin has to be the dark cloud. It’s just normal.

Calvin reminds me of my late brother. When he did stuff like this my mom would laugh and laugh (especially if he did it to one of his siblings). If anyone else did it, she’d be mad and punishment would be swift and stinging.

I like the way her expression in the first panel matches his in the last…

I like the prank. It’s harmless. Could even be enjoyable on a hot day. Not sure how mom would have reacted. Not sure how I would have reacted.

This one of those times where the enjoyment may be worth the spanking / grounding you get afterwards!

Everybody complains about the weather, but nobody does anything about it.

I say, that kid’s got a death-wish: hosing mom, careening off cliffs, tormenting girls, consorting with a tiger…

“Go away and stop being silly” has a totally different meaning to Calvin.

Years ago we were with my son’s soccer team having team pictures taken on a local business green field. Suddenly and without warning I was hit in the side of the head by a strong blast of water. The rainbird style pop-up sprinklers had come on and one happened to be aimed straight at my head.

Let the chase begin.

Does Calvin ever suffer a consequence for his actions other than being sent to his room?

Calvin never seems to learn that aggravating Mom IS NOT and I repeat IS NOT an activity that is good for your health and well being ! ! ! !

Every once in a while i see a comic like this one and i am reminded of what a little s### Calvin is.

Why is it that we avoid water? Even on a hot day when it would feel so good we walk around the path of sprinkler. Except if you are a kid. Why grow up?

Calvin’s parade is about to get rained on as well. Given Calvin’s giving the forecast for rain his deniability goes out the window as well.

Wow anyone realize how mean Calvin’s mom is being here? Calvin didn’t do anything wrong, he’s only 6, and his Mom tells him to “go away and stop being silly”. Poor Calvin /: (He doesn’t seem very offended though xD)

Mom is going to be the dark cloud in Calvin’s day.
