Back (way back) when I got my first Suzuki X6 Street Scrambler I was warned “most motorcycle accidents happen within the first 2 weeks of ownership and within 3 miles of home.”
I used to work with a guy who wasn’t all that bright. When we told him that most accidents happen within five miles of home, he moved! (I know, old joke)
Richard Tyler (the boy in The Page Master) said something very similar about home related accidents just before going into Dr. Jeckyl’s home with Fantasy, Adventure and Horror.

Reminds me of a line I heard on MASH:
He’s exhausted.
Alright, who exhausted him?

Reminds me of highway maintenance crews in Quebec.

I think it’s awfully sweet of Rory to take care of his friends! I’ll bet he moves the signs when they’re through.
Oh wait…….Stan is always grazing.
