…How nice of her. I think.

You have to applaud her dedication to planning & preparation.

I don’t care for egg and tuna salad that much, either.

This is my grandfather’s lunchbox. He took thirteen sandwiches for lunch every day. Two each of six kinds of lunchmeat and one jelly sandwich. When he came home from WWI the grocer thought my grandmother had opened a boarding house. (He worked as a fireman on the railroad, back when you shoveled coal, so he worked it all off.)

I would make a bread loaf of sandwiches with different meats, cheeses, mustard, mayo and freeze them. toss one in the lunch box with a packet of lettuce and tomato and by noon it was ready to assemble.

Sheesh; Do the stores still sell Wonder Bread? Don’t see any “baggies” so those suckers will go stale right quick dontchaknow?

After a few days, those sandwiches will sport some tasty fuzzy condiments. Yummmmm

I think she had a lot of leftovers to get rid of.

I think she’s giving him a hint. d-i-v-o-r-c-e

She was going to include twinkies for dessert but was afraid they’d go stale…
