I bought a nice Fraser Fir yesterday. It was $42 dollars and we had a $5 off coupon. It is the nicest tree I can remember having. I did have a big tree like the one above once and the hassle made it a real pain. I had to buy a cement stand with a 1/4” galvanized steel insert and still had to run a support wire from the tree to the wall to keep it from falling over.
You can get a really good effect of the real smell with some fresh pine bough arrangments around the house (and not spend a fortune). Even here in AZ I have a pine tree in my back yard (grew from the 3’ I planted in ‘99 to over 2 stories now-and has a good scent). Too big to decorate now;-( never thought it would grow so fast, but the birds love it ;-)

Donate it to Alabama to replace the one that burned down because of copper wire thieves.
