Bagheera, being a good big brother, licked the back of Larry’s head once. It made Larry’s fur stick up like he had a cowlick. Unlike Blossom, Larry actually enjoyed being groomed by his big brother.

This is funny. our little devil will groom her sister for about 2-3min, then suddenly bite her behind her ear. We’ll be thinking “oh, that’s so sweet”, then we hear the hiss, then they both run out of the room at warp speed. Ever see an 11lb longhair try to run on a hardwood floor? Did YOU keep a straight face?

Yesterday was the best- it had everything- Elvis in full poofage, a cursing sparrow (with subtitles, no less), the exuberance of Tommy… just the best!

My oldest cat, Clayton, is turning 15. I started him on senior cat food yesterday. Right now, he isn’t having anything to do with me.

I’ll be back, but right now it’s Sunday night and was reminded that it’s playtime. They like the stick with string and feather attached to te end…

My sister’s sister died Sunday afternoon. She e was the fourth of five girls. My sister and I are linked by love and cat litters, not by blood. But she and her sister were close. The lost sister died at peace with our god after a fight with cancer. Please pray for my sister as she prays for hers.

Exciting news this morning, Orbsters! My girlfriend just recued two shelter cats. A grown tabby called Molly and a grey and white kitten named Abby. AND she loves BCN but is not on GoComics just yet. Do not fear, I will get her here!So, please send congratulations and warm fuzzy orb bumps to Julie for rescuing kitties – and to me too – two more darling kitties in my circle! :D <3

Good morning and happy Monday/Funday, orbsters and orbabies. All quiet on the Barrie front this morning, except that Paul had to go for his treatment again without me, as I wait for the cable guy who was supposed to come yesterday! I sent Paul off with coffee, water, 2 home made blueberry muffins, and instructions on where he is to go, what he is to do, and who he is to see. Yum Yum is wandering in and out. No rabbits for her to chase today.

Fun factoid: cat horking up a hairball contributed to art! (movie making art). If you haven’t seen the LOTR movies, this won’t make sense. Andy Serkin was struggling to find a voice for Gollum to distinguish him from Smeagol. As he was pondering, his cat wandered in and horked up a hairball in front of him. At first he was annoyed at the interruption, and then as he was cleaning up, the light dawned. The voice of a horking cat was the voice he needed for Gollum!!! So in the movies, whenever Gollum speaks, think of a cat about to give you a gift!

Pretty soon my cats will no longer have to groom themselves. Once they come out of hiding that is… I adopted a 2yo 140lb Great Dane yesterday and he is a love bug. He loves everyone and everything including cats. His foster mom said he would groom her cat and I can tell she was right. KK one of my calicos is cautiously optimistic that this new guy will be her new best friend. She has visited him a few times under my strict supervision (she knows momma will protect her) and she kinda likes him. His head is bigger than she is. Only one cat Meav her sister is MIA since Jasper the Dane arrived. I give it a month before all the cats are sleeping with Jasper, Dually my Weim not so much. I don’t have the heart to tell the cats that this dog is going to get bigger and put on about 50 more pounds though. My only problem with him is that he is a king size dog and I have a queen size bed.

Oh yeah, GoComics has “improved” themselves again – the Like button for the strip has vanished and now comments are in a smaller, more difficult to read font. Why can’t they just leave well enough alone! It worked perfectly fine before all these improvements (?) started

For those that missed it, Reboot returned late last night and has now been to the vet for his yearly shots, checkup, and this time, he got chipped. A happy camper he is not. Still, it’s good to have him back where he belongs.

OK, has anyone else noticed a lack of a “LIKE” button for the comic? Suddenly, I’ve got “comments” and a bunch of “share” buttons on the right side of the comic – but no Heart!

Dearest Mega Orb!!!

Dusty is improving remarkably! Praise the Higher Powers and the loving from the Mega Orb! Now he “thinks” he’s ready to take on Rocky (the dumbest squirrel I ever saw). Ain’t gonna happen, but if wishes were squirrels, kitties would dine!

Hi everyone… I’m not sure how many of you will see this, but my computer died on June 15 and I only just got it back. I have a lot of catching up to do and was without my computer for so long that I don’t have the time to read all the comments for the days I missed.
