Calvin with a saw is a scary sight!

Reminds me of the one where he’s hammering nails in a table top and his mom asks “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” to which Calvin says (with a quizzical look, “Is this a trick question?”

But we’ve already got the saw…

It would make two nice chairs.

The couch is not too wide but, now, there is definitely too much paint on the rug! :o}

What are you doing with that hand saw? You need a chainsaw for this job.

Boy, do I miss LeadingEdge.

Anyone knowing Calvin would know if he really wanted to do it he wouldn’t have asked first. but just seeing the saw in his hand is scary enough. But Calvin is also the kind of kid who would enjoy asking such a question to see the reaction he would get even if he already knew he wasn’t going to do it.

I never noticed the smoke around mom’s feet until now.

Mom is stifling Calvin’s creative juices.

I could not stop laughing at Mom in the third panel. Reminds me of Brando in Apocalypse Now , “The horror! The horror!”
