Where I hail from, that milkshake is called a cabinet. The same conversation with my wife happens every time we travel home. “A cabinet … cabinet is furniture, not a beverage! What’s wrong with you people? Just call it a milkshake! I’ll never … yes, hi, miss, I’d like a peppermint cabinet, please? … figure out where you got this from!”
