I had one years ago who stashed stolen items in the closet. One morning I woke up in time to see her jumping off the night table with my watch in her mouth.

When my parents moved out of my childhood home 14 years ago, we found an unbelievable amount of things that had been stolen by our cat Tigger, close to 30 years ago. Including a number of bracelets, packs of wintergreen lifesavers, pretty much every lighter that had ever gone missing during the years my parents smoked and lots of paint brushes.

When my youngest was a baby, ho stole my phone off the nightstand. Found it 2 days later under the bathroom counter.

When I was a kid, one cat made keys disappear. There was one set that, as far as I know, my parents didn’t recover. Probably under the house.

You can consider yourself fortunate if your cat doesn’t “mark” you by scent glands: also known as peeing on you. It isn’t really pee, it is much stinkier, but boy that is hard to wash off.#catsmustmarkterritory

If the Chapstick was capped, all you have to do is wipe it off Angie. Otherwise, replace it.
