Reminds me about the guy who worked and worked to counterfeit the perfect $19 bill. He figured the best place to try it out was at the Post Office, so he went in and asked for $1 worth of stamps. The clerk said, “Sure, no problem. How would you like your change? Three $6’s or two $9’s?”

There was a time when states could print their own money. (Look up obsolete currency) Vermont had $3, $4, and $6 bills.
