My personal opinion is that Ed looks better with a beard.

I can see where this is going: Ed screws it up and, like with all managers who fail, gets promoted and therefore ends up being Rita’s boss.

This is freaking me out. Not counting Sunday, Ed’s been awake for five strips in a row!

Ed doesn’t want the department to become more efficient and sane on his watch. I have to admit, the logic escapes me.

Ed has a chin?

I don’t understand why he had to shave. These days most businesses allow beards. (Based on what I’ve observed, anyway.)

Here’s hoping he figures out a way out!
