Oh no! The July Bug is heading towards the baby and Elvis is in hot pursuit. Bug, I think your heading for the baby is a seroius mistake. Considering Elvis’ protective nature towards his baby, you have likely sealed your doom.

I love the way Elvis is shown leaping through panel 3 and into panel 4.

Leave the baby alone, you evil fiend!

Ok, I’m ashamed of myself for paraphrasing that quote. I don’t even like that movie, but I paraphrased it anyway.

The June bug has no idea what it’s in for if it disturbs Elvis’ baby.

With Elvis after it, if the bug is (as I believe) based on Winston Havelock, it is going to go down in flame, though perhaps not a lot of glory.

That big parking lot is the market. We turn right one block ahead of that and we are on my old block.” Still staring straight ahead, she added; “the house is in the middle of the block- should have a white mailbox on the fence.” As they walked down the street that crossed Tre-C’s, Megan noticed there were a lot of cinder block fences dividing the properties. She liked that. Now, she could go from house to house by fence and see where it was safe to tread- and, where it was not. Now, she could begin to ask around about… “Tre-C, kitten, what was your momma’s name?” “Yenta. They called her Yenta…”

There is a line you may NOT cross! Elvis will stop you, but there WILL be consequences even for the attempt! You were warned!

Jules is in major trouble now—he has awakened the Siamese Guard Cat’s wrath. This is never a wise thing to do.

“By Cats Whiskers”, Elvis is upset. I haven’t heard such language in a long time. July Bug better not be near the Baby. Elvis is very protective of his family.

That’s quite a puff of smoke Elvis left at take off. Do you suppose he has an invisible jet pack? or perhaps off-camera, he gulped down a high octane energy drink?

!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE BABY !!!

Faster than a speeding cheetah, more powerful than a lion, able to sprint long distances at a single bound, Look, down in the living room! It’s a dog! it’s a vacuum! it’s Super Cat! …..Yes, it’s Super Cat, strange visitor from the planet Hairball, with powers & intelligence far beyond those of mere mortals. Super Cat, who can change a simple rumor into a huge conspiracy theory, bend the humans will with a single meow, and who, disguised as Elvis, semi mild-mannered reporter for a great local news station, fights a never-ending battle for truth, justice & protecting his girls!

…aaaand he’s at the 20…the 30…the 40, yard line! Will Elvis make the catch in time?!

Hey folks! I’ve been “lurking”, trying to keep up, and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! Please forgive me for what I don’t know, and help me catch up? I just can’t read all of the comments I’ve missed, to keep up with the “Orb News”. :-(

First off, about the time I REALLY lost track, Shaunnmun, how is your kitty? I’ve been so worried, but I’m hopeful? I hope I’m not opening any wounds by asking!! :’( And, there’s been cancers, and treatments, and all SORTS of stuff! How goes all??!?

Again, please forgive my lack of knowledge – it’s not a lack of caring OR prayers, I PROMISE you!!!

And, Mr Gentleman Bear (not your actual “handle”, but I hope you know who I mean), I am currently dealing with the “two lines ONLY, and NO SCROLLING to others!” thing. YEAH! IT SUCKS!!!

Biopsy and PSA came back negative.

Next is a CT and an X-Ray.

You have no idea how relived i am.

This has been the best couple days for me. When I was feeling kinda down, I would go the breaking cat news page and read the Jules the July Bug comics. Always cheer me up. Also, I’m not so scared of the big bugs that fly in the house. I keep a healthy distance. As long as they don’t touch me, I find myself laughing a little picturing it with a bomber, scarf, and goggles. Thank you again for creating Jules.
