Is it even called a stereo anymore. I had a friend of mine had an older brother who was an audiophile. I remember going with him to the drug store to test the tubes for his amplifier.
It may sound strange but I once had a dog, who loved classical music.
If I had to leave him alone in the house, for any length of time, I’d put the local NPR Classical radio station on, and he’d be content to sprawl in front of the speakers all day, listening to the music.
He didn’t like opera, though. He’d howl at certain arias, or leave the room.
I used to make a yearly donation to the NPR station in his name.
