I work in a Downtown area. What gets me is the number of people staring at or talking on their phones while driving. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve nearly been hit because some idiot with a giant cell phone blocking their vision makes a right turn on red without bothering to turn their head to look for pedestrians.
Aside from all the sad comments, did anyone wonder if Koko, whose front paws were against the dashboard, was also pressing his rear paws against an imaginary brake pedal?

Funny how folks want a 70" tv in their home then spend hours watching videos on a crappy 4" phone screen

As a cyclist these pedestrians can be hazardous on shared pathways. But, I’ve seen some cyclists also using their devices while riding.

A good idea would be a service dog that could hide their devices when it’s time to leave the house.
