I use Strava to log my bike runs. The app is quite creative in the selection of the names of some segments of my route. Yesterday I rode past a waste treatment plant close to where I used to work. Because of the GPS link, the app recognizes the plant as a preeminent feature in the area and aptly called the ride segment “sh*t plant time trial”.
At least they don’t resort to outright intimidation and physical violence, like many surfers do when “their” stretch of beach is visited by “not one of them”. And yes, I live in San Diego.
