Funny thing about a loan. Before you can borrow the money, you have to first prove that you don’t need it…

Since he apparently knew Andy, this could have been a 2 panel cartoon.

Must have been a new agent to have asked that question. Can’t be that many loan places in Hartepoole that Andy hasn’t been to all of them!

If you borrow a thousand $$ and do not or can not pay it back, the bank will come at you with all guns blazing doing anything/everything to get their money back. HOWEVER, if you borrow say $200 million and can not/will not pay it back, the bank, rather than suing to get their money back, will instead quickly loan you another $200 million in hope that whatever business you are in will eventually start making a profit. (unless, like Trump did, just shut down and declare bankruptcy-I do believe that Trump is the only person to ever actually lose money on a casino, losing even after the lender pumped more $$ into it.) I have to wonder, was Trump doing money laundering during this time. (Seriously, how could anyone become a real estate developer in NYC and not have really good connections to the mob)
