    Additionally about President Truman, his middle initial S doesn’t stand for anything. (How low do Hawaiian high temperatures and how high do the low temperatures go anyway?)

    I can believe the one about Hawaii. I input Honolulu as one of my favorites for my satellite TV interactive weather channel. The weekly forecast is almost the same every day, every week. High of 87, low of 77 and sunny.

    Among the 50 states Hawaii has the lowest high temp (98F July 1957) and the highest low temp (15F Jan 1975) All other states have a high of 100F or higher. Alaska just made at 100 even. And All other states have recorded negative F temps. (Florida at -2F)
