Presumably, that should be “Rogues’ Gallery” if there is more than one rogue.
Eugene Roche was the name of a well-known character actor who played a lot of cops and criminals and is known to some as the “Ajax man” from 1970s commercials.
Dick is in for insults the likes of which he has not seen since a certain poster lambasted with upon the entrance of the current team, lobbed by someone with a similar New Yawk address !
Okay, I know who Eugene Roche, the actor, is. And I am duly reminded of the All In the Family address. But Flattop?! In what universe has he not been dead for decades? Is this a super make-up job? A Time Warp at 704 Hauser? (And that reminds me of Wings Hauser, another actor from the not-too-distant past, whom I think of as the “the poor man’s Rutger Hauer”….) Can hardly wait to see where this goes!
I was seriously thinking of sitting these next two weeks out. Other than artwork in the last Minute Mystery, I have not been impressed with them. But the Queens house and the return of Flattop may just reel me in.
Dale (above) – I was thinking the exact same thing, Midnight Mirror!

Okay now I am almost as shocked as Dick Tracy to see a dead man seemingly alive again. Has Dr. Goat done this before his death?

Archie Bunker’s house? Why, “It’s All In The (Tracy) Family”! I can picture Sam and Lizz sitting side-by-side at the piano:
“Boy, the way that Chester drew.
Very few were good as Gould.
Crazy crooks, he inked a few.
Rogues Gall’ry revue…
Yes there’ve been some great villains,
Hoodlums, gangs, and dangerous dames.
Never thought we’d see a strip with Flattop Jones here again.
You could say we always knew,
Every crook would get their due.
Dick Tracy would see it through.
Rogues Gall’ry revuuuuuue!”

I thought Flattop Jones assumed room temperature years ago. Is this a relative?

Eugene Roche was an actor who appeared in “All in the Family,” but I don’t know what connection he’d have to Flattop.

I read Dick Tracy as a kid… Now I’m kinda flat topped myself.

Since we have to wait until next Sunday for the conclusion, wouldn’t this be a 10,080 Minit Mystery?
Night-Gaunt49[Bozo is Boffo] about 6 years ago
I thought it was through the entire two weeks. My error.

I think I will like the 2 Minit egg just fine. Those other ones just had no ‘meat on the bone’. The Geo. Reeves one was fun tho’.
