before the advent of Smartphones, methinks Baldo never learned to read a map

He should ask someone else for directions. Plus he’ll save money.

At least he was honest about giving bum directions. Really should have said he didn’t know to start if he couldn’t help

I remember 25 years ago when a tourist walked up to where I was working and asked me for directions. Like I could just stop the work I was being paid to do to answer some idiot.PS He had to drive right past the local chamber of commerce/tourist bureau to get to where I was working. Being right in the middle of doing my job, on a deadline to get the equipment repaired, I just told him to look over his right shoulder, big sign said Tourist Bureau and go there, then I ignored him. Funny thing that made him very angry and he went to my boss to complain. My boss then chewed out the idiot and at one point I heard him yell, “WHAT, ARE YOU BLIND?” IMPO the idiot was too lazy to get out of his car, thats why he came to me.

Not everyone has a smartphone, Baldo. He could have one of those phones that only let you dial out in case of emergency.
