If you don’t like this president, vote democratic. As a former republican, I’m proud to admit the democrats, while not perfect, are demonstrably better than the regressives.
I posted this comment 4 days ago for a different ‘toon, but it’s still applicable: The appearance of the Tea Party Movement in the early 2000s and the Occupy Movement about a decade later signaled the deterioration of the two major American political parties. The Democrat base is adrift and disorganized, and under serious pressure from the Left, while the Republican base has lost sight of its conservative ideals under the populist pressure of Trumpists. Notably lacking from either major party is any push for fiscal responsibility or restraint.
I am a member of no political party-I am a Democrat.Attempting to get Democrats all together is like herding cats. Republicans OTOH all get behind whoever is the party leader, even when it means they have to abandon all of their principles(principles which they follow only when a Democrat is President and abandon as soon as their side gets the Presidency). For whatever reason the GOP loves to cut taxes for the FILCH=FILthy riCH(o.1% and leave all the rest of us to pay the bills. Also the MIC= Military Industrial Complex seems to own the GOP as they always increase the Defense budget-already more than the next 10 countries defense budgets combined-but pay for soldiers always comes last after buying new war toys, even when the Branch of Service(Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines)(USCG not included as the GOP always cuts the Coast Guard budget rather than increase it) doesn’t want or need them

Carmen: “the leader of my party”.
Great, Carmen. You have completely sold out. Just go with the flow and order your red cap from Chyna.
