Not only do you have to make sure there are enough nails but you need to make sure that they are the right size

Whatever is in the Nail or Screw can/jar never seem to be enough or never enough in the proper size for a project. And sorting through the contents quite often is more time consuming than it might be worth for any repairs where there might be enough to do the job.

Most definitely hiding … or as Red Green would say “puttering”

The sorting of the nails is a worthy Zen practice, a thing that can never be completed.

Remember the carpenter apprentice who threw away nails when he picked them up, because the head was on the wrong end? His boss said to save them, because they were for the opposite side of the building being built, & would be correct for there.

On the other hand, it could be that he’s planning on trying to build something. Right now, I imagine that Janis is hearing “Jaws” music in her head.

My husband hides in the bathroom with his iPad.

If Arlo were hiding, he’d be out playing poker or bowling.
