Spiff finds himself taken captive by a four-eyed behemoth.

Somehow this is Hobbes’ fault.

I wonder why every single planet Spaceman Spiff visits is always just this desolate wasteland with no plant life.

If only slam dunking were this easy.

and tomorrow, Calvin’s parents will buy their son a new bed that isn’t so bouncy

I seriously doubt Calvin will be able to go to sleep after all that bouncing!

Shouldn’t he use the facilities first? At first I thought this was a continuation of the sickness plot.

Aw, Dad. All the Moon astronauts are doing it.

How come Spiff doesn’t take planet readings before he explores? Get that man a tricorder…

“If you’re not supposed to bounce on it, why is it so bouncy!?!”

Calvin seems to be getting his motivation from another tiger named Tigger.

Watterson wrote that he got his otherworldly landscapes from southern Utah, and after visiting there I can see how he was inspired.

Go, Calvin!!

One of the things I love about Spiff is his ever-changing goggle lenses. A new look for every panel.

Watterson can draw anything he wants to. He’s a genius with pen & ink. No carping, fans, just enjoy his gift.

When he found the rest rooms, he was not sure what the icons on the doors meant…

I broke my parents bed doing that….then when they died and I inherited the bed, I had to fix it. My parent’s just propped it up and never really fixed it.
