I, for one, am glad the house is gone. I get so tired of its attitude. Fix my roof, mow my lawn, paint my trim, clean my gutters, pay my mortgage! Me Me Me Me Me! Go ahead and run away with that skinny waif, the lighthouse, see if I care. I’m building a new house anyway, and I am using lesbian builders. It’s the latest thing and is going to be all tongue in groove and no studs.

Modest Mussorgsky could get away with this sort of ambulatory housing—Baba Yaga, in Pictures at an Exhibition, but I am not hopeful of ever seeing a house visit the beach anywhere in Froglandia….
