Come on little fly… you can make it!Tomorrow it will be the thrill of victory or the agony of de feet. Tomorrow night Janis will have nightmares. "Help mee! Help meeeeeeeee!!
“Have we come to this?” I don’t remember either of them retiring. Once, they were lamenting their work schedules, talking about the office, etc. Suddenly (several years ago) they just quit talking about it, and we quit seeing them at work.
Did I miss the comic where they retired?
Work was once an interesting part of the mix. Now they are all about sitting on the couch, watching TV, Janice taking walks, playing with smart phones, and of course, the other half of them that are about Luddy.
@sbwertz and others: I think we’ve got a fundamental problem here — if you put a baited trap on your table (even if the bait smells wonderful) you are going to attract flies to that spot. You’re making the problem worse!

Next step: Longing for more excitement in their declining years, Arlo and Janis begin watching insects explode in the patio’s bug zapper.

Just be patient folks: in the next hour or two, every wasp for six miles downwind will be queueing up!

Maybe some Spanish Fly would make things more interesting

Put a little dog poop in that thing and it will be filled up in minutes.

Meh! That would beat most of the fare on cable these days. Think of it as a very, very local reality show.

Flies provide food for other insects, spiders, birds, amphibians and countless other animals. Without flies some ecosystems would collapse.

Believe me, you would NOT put that trap on the table. The bait smells awful.

More entertaining than watching paint dry. “Help me! Help me” – The Fly.
